dc.description.abstractEnvironmental quality standards may be violated around active and inactive leach dump or heap facilities by leachates discharges that can seep into the ground. This dissertation reviews the literatures of dump leaching and heap leaching which share many similarities with dump leaching procedures, with an emphasis on environmental monitoring, environmental impact assessment, and future closure actions.
