dc.description.abstractIn this paper, the living condition of Mongolian cities has faced air, waste, and water pollution due to human-induced activities as well as, economics. From the statistics, Mongolia imported 33 million USD number of glass-made products from other countries. Thus, this research aims todecrease the price of imported glass-made packages by reusing and recycling them in the country. For this purpose, this thesis work is structured with finding out the attitude of reusing and collecting the beverage packages, also finding out alternative packages to replace glass bottles. The method to determine the current problem, effective ways are researching existing as well asefficient systems of other countries and conducting consumers’ behavior surveys. Baltic states' deposit return method and Namibian solid waste managements are suitable methods that may assist Mongolians to adopt waste management systems from other developing countries.
