Abstract

The Social License to Operate referred to as an SLO is an acceptance and approval from stakeholders (employees, customers, investors, etc.), community and the general public. SLO is characterized as a trust building process between the company or project and community over time. This is a crucial process. Gaining and maintaining SLO is complex and complicated as it is dependent on people relationships. Therefore, the most challenging part of SLO is to maintain it for a long time. keeping the trust by avoiding high-profile disasters.
